thesis - Drug Traffickers Study: Factors Impacting the Acceleration and Deceleration of the Frequency of Drug Trafficking
The main objective of the thesis is to identify factors that explain transitions in the frequency of drug offences in a sample of active drug traffickers. More specifically, it is intended to target the factors that have an impact on the acceleration and deceleration of the frequency of offending. In order to meet the objectives, a questionnaire aimed at reconstructing the criminal trajectory, mainly using the life history calendar method, is used. The main factors studied are (1) human capital (2) social capital and (3) criminal success. Polytomous and multilevel regression analyses are proposed in order to analyse the variations over time and to highlight the different trends.
