THESIS - EXPLORING THE TRAJECTORY OF SELF-EMPLOYED SEX WORKERS
The objective of this thesis is to improve knowledge about the trajectories of women who have, at one time or another, engaged in indoor prostitution, independently (no third party involved - in part or in whole). More specifically, it has two sub-objectives, namely 1) to evaluate the processes of initiation into activities related to the sex market and to highlight the changes that may occur during such a trajectory, then 2) to explore the risks of victimization and the strategies put in place to reduce these risks. To achieve these objectives, a qualitative approach will be favored where semi-structured interviews will be combined with the method of life history calendars.
